What police in baltimore are calling a credible threat issueed by gangs targeting police threatening to quote take out police because of their anger over the death of 25yearold freddie gray, a man who died in Police Custody here in baltimore about 15 days ago. Now, i spoke with people who went to mr. Grays funeral today. They say the mood was somber means full. That was just hours ago. It is very tense here again we have confirmed several officers have been hurt with protesters throwing rocks at them traffic tied up officers trying to block every corner they can to try to contain the situation. We are actually seeing and hearing the Police Choppers overhead in this area but a very very tense time right now and theres also local delegations clergy members calling on the community for peace and asking people to asking people to make sure that they remain calm. Officers have been hurt because rocks have been thrown at them. We know one officer is unconscious. And its more dark smoke you can see the flames starting to pop up a little bit more and people are just taking pictures with cell phones, with their i pads. With their i phones but fire crews they just cant get close enough right now as, f where we are, from what we can tell, just because of the sheer volatile nature of all of this. This is still the same general area where Police Officers here in baltimore were dressed in riot gear. We are actually inside that perimeter. In a safe spot. They were caught they say the service was beautiful. It was calm, it was respectful but as you can see right now a car is burning over there. Fire crews they cant get to it.
