Police in the air as well watching this whole situation with helicopters and there are about 12, 13,000 people monitor monitoring scanner traffic because of this whole thing. As you said, a threat has been issued. What police in baltimore are calling a credible threat issueed by gangs targeting police threatening to quote take out police because of their anger over the death of 25yearold freddie gray, a man who died in Police Custody here in baltimore about 15 days ago. Now, i spoke with people who went to mr. Grays funeral today. They say the mood was somber means full. That was just hours ago. Now, as you can see with officers out near riot gear Police Lights everywhere, county authorities here in the video that you you . Sought and may be seeing right now that mood is different. It is very tense here again we have confirmed several officers have been hurt with protesters throwing rocks at them traffic tied up officers trying to block every corner they can to try to contain the situation. We are actually seeing and hearing the Police Choppers overhead in this area but a very very tense time right now and theres also local delegations clergy members calling on the community for peace and asking people to asking people to make sure that they remain calm. Remain vigilant. Protest but protest in peace. Also clergy calling on the reverend al sharpton to come here and make this issue known on a much larger scale. Several teenagers run aig round looks like young people and this car just keeps burning. This part of the freddie gray protests here and again police are trying to do what they can but theres credible threat issued against police theyre taking seriously several gangs have threaten heres a cop car right now racing past the scene right now trying to control another part of this perimeter it looks like but again police dealing with what theyre calling a credible threat for several gangs to take out quote take out police here and this town is just going crazy. Officers have been hurt because rocks have been thrown at them. We know one officer is unconscious. Several others hurt but right there, you can see that burning car and heres actually heres a fire unit i dont know brian if you want to come out a minute here. Heres one of the fire units baltimore city. A lot of these guys are really struggling to get close to that situation right there. We were over there. We had some teenagers and some people jumping on our truck. We are okay but they got pretty angry. They say they want their story told but then they got pretty rowdy and they started jumping on our truck. We had to get out of there and move back aways where we are right now. This car has been burning probably for about the last 25, 30 minutes here. And its more dark smoke you can see the flames starting to pop up a little bit more and people are just taking pictures with cell phones, with their i pads. With their i phones but fire crews they just cant get close enough right now as, f where we are, from what we can tell, just because of the sheer volatile nature of all of this. This is still the same general area where Police Officers here in baltimore were dressed in riot gear. We are actually inside that perimeter. In a safe spot. We have seen them with the masks on with the night sticks and everything. In fact right over there take a look over this shoulder, more police. Their cars are out here. Theyre trying to get the situation under control. Theyre going into their trunks right there to get more of their equipment. But weve seen them with their night sticks and shields. He died in Police Custody. He suffered severe spinal injuries that led to his death once he was loaded into a police van. He was buried today. The funeral i talked to people who went to the funeral. They were caught they say the service was beautiful. It was calm, it was respectful but as you can see right now a car is burning over there. Fire crews they cant get to it.
