He picked his young daughter off the ground and ran after the driver where he says the van stopped a block away. We just lost a precious 2 yearold, my niece, my great niece. Theres no word that can explain her. Shes brilliant. I cant believe shes gone. I cant believe it. She was really precious and we will miss her. A metro station manager stabbed on the job, tonight Police Search for the suspect. That stabbing happened before noon today at the stadium armory metro station in southeast d. C. Metro says a woman entered the station and approached the information kiosk. She approaches the station manager and asked if she can ride the system for free. When the manager declined her request, she first spits on him and then a physical altercation ensues with her stabbing the station manager in the left side using what was a kitchen steak knife. Tonight that victim is hospitalized in stable condition, but were told hes going to be okay. Police were able to recover the knife handle from the scene. An arrest is made in the shootings of two ferguson, Missouri Police officers. Police arrested 20yearold Jeffrey Williams late saturday night in connection with that shooting of those two Police Officers during last weeks protest. Williams is on probation for possession of stolen property. Prosecutors say information provided by the public led to his arrest. Essentially what weve charged him with is firing shots. Its possible at this point he was firing at someone other than the police, but struck the Police Officers. So the charge is still assault in the first degree, class a felonies for striking those two officers. There was a weapon recovered which has been tied to the shell casings that were there, the weapon recovered from him and he has acknowledged his participation in firing the shots. Police want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed or recorded the shootings on their phones. Williams is in custody with bond set at 300,000. A wealthy real estate heir is in federal custody for allegedly murdering his friend. Robert dirsch was arrested just hours before an hbo series about him was set to air. A California Family driving on a highway to visit relatives, the pregnant mom said im going into labor. There was no time to get to the hospital. You hear about it.
