Trend (Ideal) Networks buys Terahertz Technologies
UK-based Trend Networks has acquired US fibre test equipment manufacturer Terahertz Technologies.
Trend was known as Ideal Networks until March this year. It is a manufacturer of data cable, network and CCTV testers.
Terahertz makes testers for OTDR, PM/LS, OLTS, PON, DWDM and CWDM.
“Businesses handling fibre optic cables can now depend on us for a wider range of equipment for testing fibre optic cabling,” said Trend CEO Paul Walsh. “TTI has a fantastic team and some extremely talented engineers, so we are excited to work alongside them to expand our range of fibre testing products.”
