UAE, Irena set up $1bn finance platform for renewable energy

The UAE and International Renewable Energy Agency (Irena) have launched a $1 billion global climate finance facility, Energy Transition Accelerator Financing Platform (ETAF), for accelerating the transition to renewable energy in developing countries.
