All students at SUNY and CUNY schools statewide will be required to receive a federally-approved coronavirus vaccine before returning to in-person instruction this fall, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo announced on Monday - while an increasing number of private institutions say they will require the shots no matter what approval stage the vaccine is in.
