Union representing 55,000 Ontario education workers calls off strike, endorses sellout agreement

The union leadership was determined to prevent school support staff from walking off the job today, because they feared that the struggle could rapidly escape their control and become a direct political challenge to the Ford government and its agenda of capitalist austerity.
