HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — It's Army Heritage Season and service men and women are calling upon local communities to help boost recruitment.
The United States Army has set up a recruitment and hiring campaign with the goal to hire 1,700 new members. The recruitment spans 150 different specialties, covering everything from infantry and aviation to artificial intelligence and cyber analytics. Major General Bob Harter was at Redstone Arsenal this morning to make his pitch to the Tennessee Valley.
“[If] you want to challenge yourself, and you want to be a part of something bigger than yourself, and you want to serve, and you want to be part of the United States Army, a formation that is best equipped, best trained, most talented and the most lethal fighting force this world has ever seen, then we've got a spot for you on our team,” Harter said.
