US Navy officer is punished for writing letter which went viral blasting sailors he was posted to live with in Japan as 'deviants' and 'perverts'
The letter was signed by 'Lt. Nathanael Allison, PhD', who wrote he had been given orders to live in enlisted accommodations in Yokosuka Naval Base, Japan
He wrote that he would be willing to pay for his family to live in a hotel instead
Enlisted accommodation, he wrote, is rife with drug use, alcoholism and assault
He said his 'good looking family' of wife and two daughters would be targets
