The Valentine Police Department Week in Review:
April 11-17, 2021
On 04/11/2021 at 12:05 am, an officer responded to the 100 block of west highway 20 in regards to a trespasser. The subject had left prior to the officer’s arrival. All information has been forwarded to the Cherry County Attorney for review.
On 04/12/2021 at 9:06 pm, an officer conducted a traffic stop near the intersections of highway 20 and 97. Following an investigation, a 20 year old Valentine man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana less than one ounce.
On 04/13/2021 at 10:17 pm, an officer was requested to respond to the 500 block of west 3rd street in regards to a disturbance. A 49 year old South Dakota man was arrested on an active Cherry County warrant.
