WAC Taps Nostrant to Replace Shirk

Another significant piece of DIII coaching news fell on Tuesday when Washington College announced John Nostrant as its next men's lacrosse coach. A hall of fame player at WAC, Nostrant built a national powerhouse at Haverford School (Pa.) before taking over as the head coach at Gilman (Md.) prior to the 2020 season.
Nostrant's hiring comes on the heels of news that Gettysburg and Denison will both be in the market for new head coaches prior to the 2022 season as Hank Janczyk and Mike Caravana announced their retirement and stepping down, respectively.
