Walk-In Access program now open

It’s called the Walk-In Access program and enrollment begins March 15
th. The Minnesota DNR is seeking parcels at least 40 acres in size with high-quality cover.
Program coordinator Troy Dale says it benefits both hunters *and* landowners.

“I like to call it a win-win for hunters and landowners. Hunters purchase the three dollar endorsement with their hunting license, and there's no need to ask for landowner permission. It’s a real time saver for both the hunter and the landowner.”
 
In its eleventh year, Dale credits the program’s success to hunters respecting those private lands by following rules and regulations.
