They claim his excuse was he tossed the banana in the air and it landed on the door. I want them to understand what they did wrong. The school is telling nbc 10 someone called Campus Safety officers telling them 19yearold Mccrae Williams needed medical help and that he had been drinking. Officers got that call just before 4 30 sunday afternoon. Thats when they found williams unconscious outside his dorm. The freshman lacrosse player was rushed to the hospital and transferred to another hospital before he died monday afternoon. An autopsy released earlier this week revealed williams died from blunt force head injuries. Toxicology tests arent finished yesterday. Investigators still trying to figure out how this all happened. Shes been gathering information since the School District made the announcement this afternoon. She joins us now in eagleville. Reporter the Teachers Union had to give 48 hours notice. So it told the School District after months of negotiations that it plans to walk off the job on monday. However, there is a lastminute meeting set for this weekend. Both sides are hoping they can avoid a strike. The teachers deserve to get what they want and need. Reporter as parents picked up their kids, some were just learning, come monday school may not be open. Im with the teachers, absolutely. I love the School District. I went to this School District. My children go to the School District. Im with the teachers, absolutely. Do you think they can get this resolved by monday . I hope so. This has been going on since january. Reporter those talks the Teachers Union says have so far not led to what it calls a fair contract. The union says in bad Economic Times its agreed to pay freezes and teachers worked over time while the district consolidated schools. It says the battle now is over wages and insurance premiums. Meth that tick School Superintendent said in part this is a time that students are setting into their educational routine and learning materials that will set the phone for the year. Its so disheartening they will be denied this because of meas decision. The union says it will bargain over the weekend and is hopeful to aif void a strike. The district is saying while parents should make plans in case school is canceled, its hoping the issue is resolved before monday. Again, i talked to both the School Board President and the partners in the union who are heading up the negotiations. They are hoping that this sunday night meeting will be their last and that contract talks will finally be over. In the meantime, the School District is urging you, if you have children in the methacton School District to make alternative plans. Theyll notify parents sunday night 598 00. He pleaded guilty today to all the counts against him, one week before his trial was set to begin. The 41yearold will serve at least three to six years in prison. A judge could give him four to eight years. He also has to register as a sex offender. Prosecutors say he asked two underage kids to send him nude pictures and to perform a sex act. Philadelphia police say moments earlier a man unzipped his pants in front of that girl. It was one of three attempted lurings that happened over here. We talked to a woman who didnt want to be identified, but she had a lot to say about what happened this morning. When she kept saying the man in the black car. I was assuming the person was going to try to take her in the car. I came and put her in my car. I said lets go, ill take you to your school. That woman we spoke to said this attempted luring appears to have happened at the intersection where you see new construction and the school is right around the corner.
