Sheinelle jones is there, back in her old stomping grounds and shes doing a dance already. Sheinelle, good morning. Reporter good morning you can feel the energy here in the city of philadelphia. Let me tell you, there are already easily thousands and thousands of people here this morning. Let me put this into context. The parade doesnt even start until 11 00eastern. They wont even get to this area where i am in front of the iconic Philadelphia Museum of art, the parade wont even get here until about 1 00 p. M. This afternoon. All of the people you see around me a lot of them have been out here since midnight. Which means they will be outside tailgating for 13 hours before they even see any of the eagles players. But for them its worth it. If you think about it this city has never seen a super bowl championship. They have been waiting their entire lives to see this. So frankly whether youre 3 or never see this which means youll wait outside in the cold and it is freezing this morning, for hours just to celebrate with the rest of the city. Now, let me give you a little bit of the xs and os. This will be a fivemile parade route. They start at lincoln financial field. We call it the linc here in philadelphia. Then they have 16 buses that will wind their way through the streets of philadelphia for five miles. Every person i know will be outside just trying to get a glimpse of their faces. Then it will ending right here in front of the iconic Philadelphia Museum of art. Lets just say, okay have you seen the movie rocky . This is an iconic area of philadelphia where he runs up the steps and cheers. Thats why they are here. They want to watch the players run up to the top of th going to go nuts. Again, there are already thousands of people here. Theres music playing, theyre chanting about who let the dogs out, the eagles chant. Its insane. That looks like a blast, doesnt it . I cant wait for the rocky music. Sheinelle already drank a dozen eggs. Its unbelievable. She beat up a side of beef. Wow, shes already into it. Shes been in a workout montage all morning long. Barnum in elon musk. He knows h a good shows tesla in the middle of it. The bottom line is that this is all about money. Even hardcore nasa astronauts are startin remember it seems like many years ago now when elon proposed flying a spacecraft into space and landing the firststage booster on land or a ship and i thought, you know this is kind of crazy. And then he did it. Spacex has been flying Cargo Missions to the space station for years. Its reusable rockets able to do it far more cheaply. After spending half a billion dollars on falcon heavy, musk says the first test for bfr could come this year. We want a new space race. Races are exciting. Let the space race begin anew. By the way, did you catch that he spent 500 million of money to develop falcon heavy. Its good to be rich. And coming into this olympic games, she is as hot as any downhill skier in terms of results. Won her two races this past weekend, has won her last three downhills. Theres emotion involved too. I call it the eagle eye up here. It is pretty impressive. You can see right now we are by broad and spruce streets at this point. You can see both sides of broad are filled with people this parade to begin. It doesnt start for another 2 1 2 hours. These folks have been outdy to go. It is a little chilly out there. The folks with their jackets and coats and some they aresbegins to make its way up broad street past city hall. Well show you city hall as we start making our way up broad street. This is the way that the parade is going to move. It is going to move in this direction here. Up broad and it is going to make a left turn as it hits city hall. We have also seen a lot of these buses with people making their way to the parade destinations here. The parade is going to loop around in that direction there. We see all sorts of folks lined up here since 4 00 5 00 6 00 this morning. Some of the folks closer to the art museum have been waiting there since last night. Right here, you can see there is a large group of buses that is making its way up the logan circle area now heading towards the oval. We have seen people really ready to have a good time. This is something that people have been waiting decades for. They have brought their families. We have been hearing from people who are flying from around the to this parade. Now, you see all these folks out on the roadways right now. A lot of schools cancelled classes for the day. A lot of work places have canceled for the day to allow people to come in and enjoy this. You are really seeing the amount of people that have come here. We still have a couple more hours to go before the parade begins. One thing thats important to remember here septa normally has about a quarter of a million, a little more than a quieter of a million riders per day. The expectation here is that we may see 1 million, perhaps 2 Million People here. That are coming into the city. The broad street line the market frankfort line are ervice. A lot of these folks we have lines and make them into the city. We just saw a large group of people walking over the bridge. They are coming from walking all the way over to the art museum. At is a ges at least. One thing that we noticed up here in 10. Down at the crowd, all jumbotrons area. There. Ing the super bowl for this crowd. We have seen aot the super bowl sy can the glory and the when eagles won their first super bowl. That just really primes this audience for what is to come later on when the team makes its way up broad street for the longawaited trip here and that celebration that everyone here has been waiting a long time for. Matttd lets go closer to the ground and give you a live view and bha itwhat it is. We have a bank of cameras positioned all over the city. This is a live look. The school buses just came through here 15 or 20 minutes ago. They are at the parkway. There are tons of people here. The masses have come o dray for in minneapolis. R it ise tefinitely it feels just like i did in minnesota the same time last week. You mentioned those buses arriving here on the parkway. We are at 22nd and the parkway. You see about two dozen buses making their way down the parkway and up toward the art museum steps. We are about a quarter mile away down the parkway. You can see the art steps. This be the r the up, see this is where also the championship flags are heree parkwayeading up to the art started arriving here this morning at around 3 00 or 4 00. You can hear them cheering behind me and around me. Matt delucia mentioned they are replaying the game on the jumbotron. Everybody is reliving the dream and watching the moment of the eagles take down the patriots and ultimately winning super bowl lii. I will take you over here and show you more of these accommodation of Family Members and fans who were escorted from where you guys are in south philly and here now to the art museum. We still have quite a few more hours to go before the players will reach this point these folks have a pretty good position. They are lined up along the fence. This is the best position you can get in terms of your proximity to players. Another thing i want to point out, security. Philadelphia police all up and down the parkway, making sure that everyone is having a good time. But at the same time steering clear and getting out of the way because there is a lot of traffic going up here. Meanwh up here to cnty. O who got here. Tara you areromcounty. It will be an unbelievable moment. People are still arriving here at the parkway. By the time that happens it is going to be an unbelievable scene here. The estimates could be from 2 million to 3 million. I dont know if we can account for everybody thats gotten in their car in ohio and indiana and have roots here in philadelphia. We have heard tons of people doing just that. Philly international, we were live and saw fans from miami, out west and one fan from israel who works abroad and thought, you know what im going home for the victory parade. People have canceled business meetings. I dont see any reason why you would have a business meeting, certainly not in philadelphia, perhaps in the suburbs. There is no reason to have any kind of meeting in philathis morning. It is jampacked hard to get into the city for obviousons. People here are in a celebratory mood. They are standing around waiting and want to see their heroes pull up in the float. They will be waving at them and showing them their love.
