A Dudley man has been given a suspended jailed sentence for racially abusing three police officers. Mohammed Amin Salim, aged 32, of Blackacre Road, admitted three racially aggravated charges and was sentenced to a total of 40 weeks in jail, suspended for 18 months. He must also do unpaid voluntary work and pay a total of £606 in fines and costs.

Dudley dangerous driver has been jailed because the offence happened in breach of a community order for drugs and thefts offences. Magistrates said the 32-week prison sentence imposed on Jamie Malpass was because not only was the offence serios, but it was aggravated by the fact he was subject to a community sentence, Malpass, aged 36, of Park Road, Netherton, admitted dangerous driving in Ivanhoe Street, driving while disqualified, and not having insurance. He also admitted breaching a community order imposed for four cannabis possession and two theft offences. He must pay £156 to the victim services fund.
