Winchester City Council offices, Colebrook Street
EVERY cloud has a silver lining – or so says Winchester City Council's health and environment committee.
It had been working closely with public health organisations throughout the pandemic and will now set up a group to ensure this continues.
The Health and Wellbeing board will work from the ground up, listening to bodies from across the district.
Cllr Jackie Porter said: "Some good things really did come out of Covid. Foodbanks extended their help to the Meon Valley, Waterlooville and Alresford.
"The council worked very closely with local health bodies – a strength that we hope to retain with this new board."
