One of the boys had climbed onto the roof, and the other was found locked in a bedroom, according to police.
The couple jointly face one count of assault with a weapon, two counts of criminal negligence causing bodily harm and two counts of unlawful confinement. The woman faces two additional charges each of assault with a weapon and failing to provide the necessities of life. A third count of assault with a weapon involves a 10-year-old girl who was also in the home.
