A mans death is under investigation after he was attacked by dogs. Police tell action news they received calls about dogs attacking a man just before 9 00 last night on the 1300 block of pike street at the scene officers found an unidentifiedfied man in a bark yard with four dogs biting him. One officer shot one of the dogs and the other three dogs ran back into the house. Investigators are trying to determine what the man was doing on the property and why those dogs attacked. Police have talked to the family of the dogs that live there and they dont know why this male was in the rear yard. The man was taken to Temple University hospital with bite wounds to his legs. He died a short time later. Police say the man may have had narcotics in his system. New this morning a quickmoving fire damaged two homes in the citys West Oak Lane section on the 1300 block of east price street. When firefighters arrived there was a lot of smoke showing from a second floor of a row home and the smoke was so thick that at one point firefighters had to pull back. No injuries had been reported and investigators are still working that scene to figure out how that fire started. 5 36 on this black friday. Developing overnight, the man wanted for shooting a texas Highway Patrol trooper on thanksgiving has been captured. Officials spent hours searching for the suspect. Brett black was finally arrested after a standoff with law enforcement. The trooper was shot. The suspect shot and killed the trooper with a rifle during a traffic stop and drove off from the scene. 9,000 bottles of vodka were stolen from a factory in california and people are concerned they may try to sell the alcohol to underaged kids. Surveillance video shows three men canvassing the factory. Police believe they broke in and stole 280,000 worth of vodka. Factory owners say the thieves wont be able to sell it to stores because of the bar codes. This next might have the average person bugging out but an exterminator in louisiana had his go pro going when he cleaned out a refrigeratorsized hornet nest.
