Every expert has said that building a wall for 18 billion over the next couple of years and even more over time is not the smart test way, and if you look at the Trump Administration budget, theyre actually cutting effective Border Security programs in order to pay for an ineffective wall. So lets get together. We can all agree we want a secure border. We need to pass daca, and then there are all sorts of other issues that are part of this debate leading up to january 19th. Childrens Health Insurance program funding, Community Health centers funding, making sure we tackle the Opioid Epidemic with just rhetoric, and other issues like pension security. So theres a whole lot on the table. We need to resolve this peace and the other pieces. Whats the senator because the president is saying march. We saw this federal judge basically block the this whole bill as it is right now as far as taking away the rights of the dreamers. We see this january 1 19th budget deadline looming. What are we really talking about here, and are these hundreds of thousands of dreamers do they hang in the balance . Well, thats the problem. I mean theyre just hanging out there right now very vulnerable, what were trig to do is make sure they have a stable place in americas future. These are kids who have grown up here in the United States, its the only country they know. They pledge allegiance to the flag. Umhmm. And we need to resolve this before january 19th. Or what happens . Well, we want a commitment to make sure tha get done. We also want a commitment that were going to fund the childrens Health Insurance program. You know part of the other discussion on the budget is making sure that as we invest in a strong military, we also invest in our kids education, invest in medical research and operator things that are important to the economy. So youve got a whole bunch of issues. This is a very important one, and were trying to resolve it. People are willing to comp compromise, and the big issue is when it comes to the Border Security peace making sure we have strong Border Security but not be throwing away peoples money. I mean this is one that trump as a candidate did say that mexico was going to pay for. And a lot of us just dont like to see taxpayer money wasted on ineffective Border Security. We heard in the set up piece we heard from one your colleagues lets take daca and address that separately. Now with the news this morning of this federal judge in california essentially saying look going against the president here when it comes to daca going against the administration, does that help deal with that separately or n not . Well, its an Important Development but the reality is that we need to provide some permanent see and certainty. The Court Decision as i read it, its temporary, it could be extended depending on what the courts find but this is an area where in order to provide any kind of stability Going Forward Congress Needs to act. I do think youve got republicans and democrats in congress who are willing to come together. If you were to put the clean daca bill up for a vote in the house and the senate, i think it would pass. But, we can also work on these other pieces especially Border Security it needs to be smart. We dont want to throw away peoples money. To that end going back to this real people that exist that came here as children that have followed the rules, the president said this is a bill of love. It should be a bill of love. But he is essentially putting it in the hands of congress. Whats the real deal here because when i hear as a citizen, i think, who is playing games here . Does the president really want this . Is he saying im leaving it for you to do . What is really going on with the Dreamer Program . The hard part about the meeting at the white house yesterday the president appeared to be saying yes to everything even though many of the things were contradictory. Okay. And so thats why people have got to go back and figure it out. I mean you had a clip from senator Lindsay Graham a republican from South Carolina. Hes one of the people who is a Republican Co sponsor of the dream act, so we need to have that coming together of republicans who understand we need to deal with this issue. Democrats as i said are willing to address Border Security. Thats never been the issue. The issue is making sure its effective for us. We also have the issue that arose just a couple days ago with respect to tps people here on temporary protective status. Umhmm. A Large Population primarily from honduras at others who are at risk these are people here legally. Its important to understand they were granted the status because of awful conditions in their country, and the conditions in these home countries are still very vio violent. I dont think it has anything to do with the countys offer between the county and the state, we put up an offer that is larger than any that i can recall in the countys history. Reporter when Discovery Communications announced in 1998 it was moving to downtown Silver Spring and would be building its headquarters there it was what county leaders viewed as the anchor it needed to revitalize a what had become a seed dee downtown Silver Spring. Now the company is leaving and taking its 1300 jobs out of the shiny building at the corner of Georgia Avenue and colesville road. The Company Announced it will sell the building with some employees staying in maryland while others will be moving to a hub in sterling, virginia, and still others going to a new campus in knoxville, tennessee, where the new headquarters in new york city. The company which owns animal planet, tlc and investigation discovery does make money. In of more than a billion dollars but in order to maintain that profit, discovery decided it needed a new model. We love maryland. We love Silver Spring. This has nothing to do with Silver Spring. Devastating scene in Southern California right now. After more than a dozen deaths are being blamed on powerful mudslides. 13 people dead, dozens of homes swept away. Thats because of that inner loop mess. Theres also an inner loop crash on the off ramp to Leesburg Pike closing the ramp through tysons it is just jam packed trying to get through tysons or through fairfax this morning get an early start. Traffic is terrible. There we have it. Okay. So as we take look at the inner loop again still an hour just from 66 to the legion bridge to give you some perspective. Is this it basically just means taking a 12 hour break between meals. Its that simple. If you think about like eating breakfast at seven and dinner at 7 00 p. M. More the other way around. Doctors say look have dinner at 7 00 p. M. And then dont eat. Its just that. Eat again at 7 00 oclock the next morning. Okay. Sounds simple, right. It does sound simple. Health experts say you should approach the diet like a hibernating bear. Taking a long break between your meals. Car ologists dr. Joel kahn says three meals and three stacks a day simply too much food for an overweight person trying to shed some pounds which if youre thinking i thought we were supposed to eat small meals throughout the day this is basically not that. Going against it. Theyre saying something different. While you cut down on eating cut down on exercise because they say along with 12 hours between meals do a 12 minute work out. Okay. It could be simple as squatting watching traffic. Make it short but make itaipu ten thats the key, and you see like those exercise machine commercials like just 12 minutes, 14 mines right. The key dont just stand there for 12 minutes. Do something intense but youll be done with it in 12 minutes find it easier to stick to the brief work out than an hour long exercise session with bunch of breaks. Meals, exercise the last element of the rule of 12 is what you eat. Backers of the diet say it may seem like a lot. But you can and you should and this is the hard part manage to have 12 serves of healthy fruits and vegetables per day. All right. So those are your thee rules of 12. One, 12 hours between your eating meal and your morning meal. Work out for 12 intense minutes day and try to get 12 servings much fruits and vegetables. I mean i think it makes sense. It makes sense. Well, i think, um, for all these people its great for the audience to get to see exactly what they are leaving behind when they do their job, and there are incredible waits in all the lives of these characters you good tote see that humanizes them youre not looking at it like, you know, some woman with a head set on or some guy in firefighter police, you know, uniform. Thats right people too and got their own problems theyre dropping them for you. On this show its interesting to see how the baton gets passed from the 911 operator to Law Enforcement or the Fire Department and all of those things that lead up to somebody getting wheeled into an emergency room and its also a lot of fun.
