At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic last March, the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank partnered with Giant Eagle and media company Entercom for an all-day radiothon that wound up providing more than 1.5 million meals to the region.
Now, on the one-year anniversary of the pandemic, the food bank is once again partnering with the grocery chain and Entercom for a second Giant Eagle Feed the Need Radiothon to benefit the nonprofit, which annually distributes nearly 40 million meals annually across 11 counties in southwestern Pennsylvania.
