Just one day after the Cascade City-County Health Department established an automated phone line for people to schedule COVID-19 vaccine appointments, the line was overwhelmed with calls and temporarily disconnected.
The health department wrote on Facebook that the issue is fixed and reminded residents they can also email vaccine@cascadecountymt.gov to get on the waitlist for a COVID-19 vaccine. If the phone line call doesn t connect, the health department encourages people to wait before they call again.
The automated phone line can be reached at 406-791-9250. People are asked to provide their name, date of birth, address and phone number when scheduling an appointment or signing up for the waitlist.
