This plan aims to shed light on the kingdom’s achievements over the first century since its independence. The Ministry of Culture announced that the centenary celebration plan includes 10 scientific conferences in Jordan dealing with scientific and research development in several fields. Therefore, as part of the country’s centenary celebrations, the American Chemical Society-Jordan Chapter organised its first research forum with the participation of many Jordanian university professors, which was held on July 7th this year.

On the campaign website, some policy scribe pledged, “Biden will rely on American union labor and American-made materials and products to build this infrastructure.” Indeed, that Biden webpage linked to another page on the site hailing the candidate’s “Plan to Ensure the Future is Made in All of America by America’s Workers.” There, we read that the goal of the Biden plan is to “ensure the future is ‘made in all of America’ by all of America’s workers.”

Rainer Glaser elected fellow of American Chemical Society RDN REPORTS rdnnews@gmail.com The American Chemical Society (ACS) has elected Dr. Rainer Glaser, chair and professor of chemistry at Missouri University of Science and Technology, as a fellow of its 2021 class. Glaser and the other newly elected fellows will be honored at a virtual and in-person hybrid ceremony during the ACS Fall 2021 meeting in late August. “I would like to thank my nominators for highlighting my research and educational initiatives to the ACS,” says Glaser. “My services to ACS are mainly in the areas of peer-review and advancing new STEM education techniques. I am looking forward to continuing to improve STEM education so that we can prepare more chemists and STEM students for their successful participation in the exciting global science community.”
