post on Rustech Brewing’s Facebook page, it says, “There are some who bring a light so great into the world that even after they are gone, the light remains. The light honors those lost, those deeply wounded, and those who are left behind to deal with this great sadness.”
Medical Assistant, wife, and mother of two, 37-year-old Lindsay Overbay, was killed in the shooting. Four others were badly wounded, including one who was shot six times. Police arrested 67-year-old Gregory Ulrich in connection to that shooting. He has been charged with second-degree murder, four counts of first-degree attempted premeditated murder, and other crimes.

Kris Brown of the gun control nonprofit group Brady United says expanded background checks and an increase in mental health care access is needed, and now.
“It’s unimaginable that you’re going to work, and that your society doesn’t protect you from known, dangerous people.”
Brown agrees mental health access should be a priority, but she says gun violence prevention laws need to be strengthened as well. She notes that with greater demand for mental health care during the pandemic, along with a surge in gun sales, the time to act is now.

Friends and family are pitching in to help support the victims of last week s mass shooting Buffalo, Minnesota, as they begin to fight to recover from their wounds.
Five Allina Health employees were shot in the attack, with one, 37-year-old mother of two Lindsay Overbay, ultimately dying from her wounds.
Another, Sherry Curtis, was identified about two days after the shooting, and confirmed to be on the long road to recovery from her injuries.
Though Allina declined to release the names of the rest of the victims, the Buffalo Strong website launched as a resource to help the families impacted by the shooting has now shared their fundraising pages, identifying them as Antonya Fransen-Pruden, Jen Gipson and Tammy Schauffler.
