COVID-19 updates from across the region

Hastings Prince Edward Public Health is reporting two new cases of COVID-19 today, and three recoveries. One new case was found in Quinte West, while the other is located in Belleville. Both people have been identified as close contacts. There are now a total of 25 active cases in Hastings and Prince Edward counties. The two outbreaks continue in the region, where one case has been identified at each facility. The outbreaks are at Crown Ridge Long Term Care Home in Trenton, while the other is at Hastings Manor in Belleville. The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit is reporting three new cases of the virus in Northumberland County. That brings the total number of active cases in the county to 39.
