Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), has issued a notice for investors wishing to establish and operate amphibious aircraft in the Sultanate.
A statement issued online by CAA said: The Civil Aviation Authority is pleased to invite investors wishing to establish and operate amphibious aircraft to submit their requests to the Authority as follows:
1- A detailed offer shall be attached with the application that includes the economic feasibility study, the company s business plan and proof of financial ability.
2- Application forms for a Class (B) operating license are filled out for aircraft with a capacity of 19 seats or less or with a maximum take-off weight of less than 10 tons. The forms can be obtained through the authority s website https://caa.gov.om

PassionAir Celebrates International Women’s Day with All-Female Flight
PassionAir on March 8, 2021 as part of celebrations of International Women’s Day, operated an all-female flight. All operations at the check-in, flight dispatch, flight deck and cabin were manned by women.
This is the second flight operated by an all-female crew after the airline operated a similar flight from Accra to Tamale on February 20, 2021.
