Australian Medical Association WA boss Andrew Miller is calling for Health Minister Roger Cook to stand down after a damning report found seven-year-old Aishwarya Aswath was failed on multiple fronts by Perth Childrenâs Hospital on the night she died.
Dr Miller told 6PRâs Liam Bartlett that Mr Cook bore the ultimate responsibility for the failures that were being raised for months before the Morley Primary School studentâs death.
The report made shocking revelations of staffing, policy and equipment failures that may have contributed to the Morley Primary School student’s death.

Perth will return to pre-lockdown life from Saturday, Premier Mark McGowan has announced.
Masks will no longer be mandatory on public transport, at large venues or at hospitals and aged care facilities. They will still be required at airports.
Optus Stadium and other major sporting venues will return to 100 per cent capacity and the home gathering limit of 100 will be lifted.
The easing of restrictions as of 12.01am Saturday comes after 12 days without any new COVID-19 community cases being detected.
