His late minute strike was his 20th of the 2020-21 Italian elite division campaign – and in the process joined Lorenzo Bettini, David Trezeguet and Igor Protti in hallowed Serie A ranks.
During the 1954-55 season Bettini found the net on 20 occasions – seven short of AC Milan’s Gunnar Nordahl – nonetheless, Udinese got demoted to Serie B.

Violence in Isarel and Palestine intensifies
What initially began as protests by Palestinian citizens and Israeli state violence in East Jerusalem over attempts to remove the Arab minority from their homes, has now morphed into attacks, bombings and missiles between terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip. So far there are 30 dead Palestinians (including several minors) and 2 Israelis. Several international organizations and human rights defenders are clamoring for dialogue and for the attacks to stop, but both sides seem to have no interest in negotiating.

Juventus will be thrown out of Serie A if they don’t officially withdraw from the European Super League project, the head of the Italian Football Federation said on Monday.
“If Juventus don’t respect the rules, they will be out,” Italian media reported FIGC President Gabriele Gravina as saying.
“At the moment of registering for the next Serie A season, they will be out if they have not pulled out from the Super League.”
At the end of April, following the attempt to form the breakaway Super League which included Italy’s three biggest clubs AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juve, the FIGC adopted a rule which would exclude clubs who take part in competitions not sanctioned by governing bodies UEFA or FIFA.

With their nine-year reign in Serie A ended and club president Andrea Agnelli roundly criticised for his role in the aborted European Super League, Juventus now risk missing out on next season s Champions League.
Juventus were knocked out of Italy s top four last weekend following a 3-0 home defeat by AC Milan, leaving coach Andrea Pirlo s position increasingly under threat entering the final three games.
