Germany declines arms export to India over IIOJ&K atrocities

Germany has declined license to two firms planning export of small arms to India due to Indian army’s poor human rights record in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).
According to official sources, German government fears that their small arms can be used against civilian population in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to a report published in Telegraph India, two Indian security officials familiar with bar on German small arms producers, said that concerns over security forces’ human rights record in Jammu and Kashmir have raised a barrier before Germany’s small arms exports to India.

Pakistan on Saturday said that guided tours to the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and meetings with “hand-picked people” were designed to create a “smokescreen” to divert attention from the egregious human rights violations in the occupied territory.

Islamabad : Pakistan Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Chairman Shehryar Khan Afridi Saturday urged Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to listen to voices emanating from India as well as Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K) and return to dialogue with Pakistan to resolve the Kashmir dispute in a peaceful manner.
Addressing participants at the Sports Festival in Kohala, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Shehryar Afridi said that Modi regime had lost Kashmir as even pro-India compradors were also now asking Modi regime to talk to Pakistan to resolve the Kashmir dispute.

The United Nations special rapporteurs have confirmed the international and widespread concern about the unilateral removal of the special status of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
Several British parliamentarians hailed the special rapporteurs statement, observing that the revocation of autonomous status is aimed at changing demography of the disputed region which would ultimately curtail rights of Kashmiris in IIOJK.
