ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz Friday said there was no guarantee of peace in the region till the settlement of the Kashmir dispute according to aspirations of Kashmiris under the auspices of the United Nations.
He was talking to the media after inaugurating a photo exhibition on the Kashmir Solidarity Day here. Advocating early solution to the problem, the minister said Pakistanis had always supported the freedom struggle of the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and they would continue doing so for their right to self-determination.

Islamabad : While the world has not moved beyond rhetoric, the Indian state continues to martyr innocent Kashmiris in the occupied Kashmir through fake encounters and other pretexts and 550 days have completed to one of the most brutal, draconian, and inhuman lockdown modern world there, said Rosemary Victoria Schofield, a noted British author, biographer, and historian.
She was addressing a webinar arranged by the National Institute of Historical and Cultural Research (NIHCR) to mark the Kashmir Solidarity Day on Friday here on ‘Kashmir under Siege: Pakistan India and an Unending War’ here. The author said Pakistan observed Kashmir Solidarity Day every year to express wholehearted support of the Pakistani nation to the struggle of Kashmiri people for their inalienable right to self-determination under the UN resolutions.

Pakistan Muslims League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmaker Hina Pervez Butt demanded of the government to unmask the cruelty of the Indian forces in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
The demand was made by the woman lawmaker in a resolution she submitted in Punjab Assembly Secretariat.
“We express solidarity with Kashmiris on Kashmir Day and will not leave them alone at the time when they are being oppressed,” she added. “We are with Kashmiris who are fighting for their independence since a long time.”

ISLAMABAD: All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Secretary General Parvez Ahmad Friday said the Kashmir Solidarity Day was the reminder for India to honour its commitment of granting the right to self-determination to Kashmiris.
Observing the day of solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) was aimed at inviting the world attention towards their legitimate and just demand of freedom from Indian yoke, he said while talking to APP.
He said as the day was observed in Pakistan at national level it would infuse a news spirit in the IIJOK people that were not alone in their struggle for their cause.
