ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan Thursday said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan People’s Party had shied away from the Charter of Democracy (CoD), while the opposition was trying to blackmail the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Addressing a meeting of government and party spokespersons here, he said the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) had died on its own and those resigning were now running away from resignations.
He said the PDM itself was suffering from differences and was running away from accountability.
He said JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman should give an account of his money and properties.

ISLAMABAD: The Indian Charge d`affaires was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs here on Wednesday to register Pakistan’s strong protest over ceasefire violations by the Indian occupation forces along with the Line of Control (LoC) on 22nd December 2020, resulting in one shahadat and serious injuries to three civilians.
Due to indiscriminate and unprovoked firing by the Indian occupation forces in Hotspring and Jandrot sectors of the LoC on 22th December 2020, 50-year-old Khadeeja, w/o Abdul Rahman, resident of Grid Janubi village, embraced shahadat and 16-year-old Samar, s/o Muhammad Azeem, resident of Grid Janubi village, 18 years old Aneela Kausar d/o Muhammad Pervez resident of Barmoch village, 04 years old Muhammad Seemab s/o Muhammad Ramazan resident of Tanoon village, sustained serious injuries, Foreign Office said in a statement issued here.

Pakistan on Thursday reiterated that there was no change in its stance on Israel, insisting that Islamabad would not recognise the Jewish state unless a just settlement of the Palestinian issue was found. There is no change in Pakistan’s principled position on the issue of Palestine. The Prime Minister [Imran Khan] and Foreign Minister [Shah Mahmood Qureshi] have also reiterated our clear and consistent position on this, Foreign Office spokesperson Zahid Hafiz Chaudhri told reporters here at a weekly news briefing.
