LAKE COUNTY, Ind. – Indiana Conservation Officers are continuing to search for a missing occupant of a boat that capsized on Lake Michigan, just outside of the East Chicago Marina, on Saturday afternoon, Indiana’s Department of Natural Resources said.
The missing man has been identified as Kevin Soto Crespo, 20-year-old from Yabucoa, Puerto Rico. He has been missing since Saturday around 2:15 p.m. after the boat he was on capsized.
Three other occupants of the boat were able to put on life jackets and were rescued on Saturday, DNR said.
Three of the four people who were aboard a boat that capsized Saturday made it to safety.

LAKE COUNTY, Ind. Indiana Conservation Officers have identified a boater who has been missing since Saturday afternoon.
A search began for one of four people who were aboard a boat that capsized on Lake Michigan near the East Chicago Marina Saturday at 2:15 p.m.
The boater was identified Sunday as Kelvin Soto Crespo, 20, of Yabucoa, Puerto Rico.
Three of the four people on the boat were able to put life jackets on and made it to safety.

COVINGTON, INDIANA â Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a fall from an elevated hunting blind that resulted in the death of a hunter this morning.
At approximately 11:00 a.m., Fountain County Dispatch received a 911 call reference a hunter who had fallen from an elevated hunting blind near the 2000 block of West Snoddy Road.
After hunting this morning, Jimmy Grider, 69, of Arcadia, fell approximately 8 feet from the elevated blind. Despite life-saving efforts by first responders, Grider was pronounced dead by the Fountain County Coroner.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine an exact cause of death. Grider was not wearing a full body harness or any other climbing safety gear at the time of the incident.
It happened late Wednesday morning near Covington in Fountain County.

FOUNTAIN COUNTY, Ind. Indiana Conservation Officers say an Arcadia man died Wednesday morning in a hunting mishap in Fountain County.
Police were called to the 2000 block of West Snoddy Road at about 11 a.m. on a report that a person had fallen from an elevated hunting blind.
The location is south of Covington, Indiana.
According to a media advisory from IDNR, 69-year-old Jimmy Grider fell about eight feet. He was pronounced dead by the county coroner. An autopsy has been scheduled.
