8 SALT LAKE CITY- The 151st Air Refueling Wing celebrated the Month of the Military Child by providing free garden kits to Airmen on April 29 at Roland R. Wright Air National Guard Base. The event was hosted by Scott Jones, Airman, and Family Readiness Program manager, as a fun way for military families to show their appreciation to their children. The month of the military child is important because it helps us show appreciation, love, and understanding for the children of our military families, said Jones. It helps make the children understand that they are a valuable part of their family and play an important role.
