Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], December 31 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat who was admitted to Delhi s AIIMS hospital for treatment is showing improvement in health and will be discharged soon, said the hospital authorities on Wednesday.
As per his physician Dr NS Bisht, there is a rapid improvement in the Chief Minister s health, and he will be discharged from the hospital soon.
Rawat was shifted to Delhi s AIIMS from Doon Hospital in Uttarakhand on November 28. Bisht had said that the Chief Minister was shifted to AIIMS for further examination and testing after the infection was detected in his chest.

Dehradun: The government of Uttarakhand on Tuesday extended the COVID-19 guidelines till January 31 keeping the coronavirus situation in mind. The government said, In view of fresh surge in cases globally and the emergence of the new variants of virus in the United Kingdom, there is need to maintain caution and strict surveillance.
The coronavirus numbers in Uttarakhand remained relatively small for some months with a few hill districts not reporting a single case, now showing a surge. Many blamed it on returning migrants.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister was in home isolation since December 18 after testing positive for COVID-19 and was shifted to the Government Doon Medical College in Dehradun after developing fever.

DEHRADUN: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, who had tested positive for COVID-19 and was hospitalised here after developing fever on Sunday, is being taken to AIIMS, Delhi for tests, his physician said.
The chief minister s health parameters are normal.
His fever has also gone down since Sunday night.
There is slight infection in his lungs, his physician NS Bisht said on Monday.
