Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat was admitted to Dehradun s Doon hospital on Sunday (December 27). It is to be noted that Rawat had tested positive for Covid-19 on December 18.
According to doctors at Doon hospital, CM Rawat was admitted to the hospital after he developed mild fever on Sunday evening. It is learnt that CM Rawat s health condition is fine and he was admitted to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
CM Rawat was in home isolation since December 18 after he tested positive for Covid-19. Earlier this year also, the Uttarakhand chief minister had isolated himself at home during the coronavirus epidemic.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, who had tested positive for COVID-19 recently, was shifted to the Government Doon Medical College here after developing fever, an official said on Monday. As he had developed mild fever, he was taken for a check-up on Sunday evening to the GDMC where doctors decided to admit him, the official at the Chief Minister s Office said. Rawat is under the observation of a team of doctors, the official said. The chief minister had tested positive for COVID-19 on December 18 after which he had isolated himself at home. His wife and daughter had also tested positive.

On the advice of doctors, COVID-19 positive Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has been admitted to Doon Hospital in Dehradun, Chief Minister`s Office (CMO) said in a statement.
It is being said that he was admitted to the hospital on Sunday due to fever and mild infection in the lungs.
