Daniel Adger was attacked inside a flat in South Ockendon, Essex, on the afternoon of August 21, 2017. He managed to flee the flat and raise the alarm to passers-by while a man continued to attack him with a machete - causing injuries to his legs, body and head. Despite the quick intervention and first aid from passers-by, Mr Adger died on his way to hospital.

Chatham man denies sending suspect package to Covid vaccine factory in Wrexham  |  Updated: 19:40, 26 February 2021 A 53-year-old man has appeared at a virtual court to deny sending a package to a Covid vaccine factory, which forced the plant to be evacuated. Anthony John Collins, from Chatham, is accused under a 1977 Act of despatching the package intending the receiver to believe it might explode or burst into flames. Bomb squad soldiers and police were called to the Wockhardt factory in Wrexham where Covid vaccines are put into vials after a suspicious package was sent there.
