Michigan’s largest credit union opened another branch in a lakeshore town.
Grand Rapids-based Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) on Monday opened a new 9,468-square-foot branch at 16916 Robbins Road in Grand Haven.
The branch has a total of seven branch staff members and 22 mortgage lenders. Natalie VanderZwaag is the branch manager.

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. â Lake Michigan Credit Union opened its newest branch Monday in Grand Haven.
Itâs located at 16916 Robbins Road.
The new facility is a full-service branch and features a comfortable walk-in lobby and the ability to schedule an appointment for in-person needs, according to a news release Tuesday.
For those members who prefer a contactless banking option, there is a drive-through service, a 24-hour drive-up ATM and night depository, as well as online and mobile banking.
This location also has notary public and access to mortgage, commercial lending, insurance and wealth management services.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. â Lake Michigan Credit Union is raising money starting May 1 to help support pediatric care at 13 local hospitals across Michigan and Florida.

LMCU hopes to raise $75,000 towards kidsâ care this year, compared to raising more than $50,000 last year, according to a news release.
Funds raised through the Band Together Campaign will benefit programs such as the Mercy Health Saint Maryâs Birth Center, Metro Health â University of Michigan Maternal Infant Health Program and Helen DeVos Childrenâs Hospital Child Life Services program.
