GUWAHATI: After taking over the reins in the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) in alliance with the UPPL and GSP, the ruling BJP on Saturday registered a thumping win in the Tiwa Autonomous Council (TAC) elections held across four central Assam districts. As per the tentative final results of TAC election issued by the Assam State Election Commission till the filing of this report, BJP had won 33 out of 36 seats in the autonomous council, while its ally, AGP, had won two seats.
