Such a tragic story. If these statements are true, how could you live with yourself knowing that you falsified documents that could prove that mistakes were made? Wouldn t you think that if you could bring some sort of peace to the families of the 7 motorcyclists who were lost, you would do your best to do that even if it meant admitting your own mistakes?
Boston Former Massachusetts State Representative David M. Nangle pleaded guilty today to illegally using campaign funds to pay for his personal expenses, defrauding a bank to obtain loans to purchase his home and repay his personal debts, and collecting income that he failed to report to the IRS.
Nangle of Lowell, pleaded guilty to 10 counts of wire fraud, four counts of bank fraud, four counts of making false statements to a bank and five counts of filing false tax returns. U.S. Senior District Court Judge Rya W. Zobel scheduled sentencing for June 24, 2021. Nangle was arrested and charged in February 2020.

BOSTON – Four individuals were arrested Feb. 4 and charged in connection with a scheme to defraud an insurance provider for physical therapy services that were not provided to patients.
Gyulnara Bayryshova, 55, of Brighton; Anna Barenboym, 45, of Wayland; Slava Pride, 41, of West Roxbury; and Raya Bagardi, 36, of Brighton, were each indicted on one count of conspiracy to commit mail and health care fraud, eight counts of mail fraud and one count of health care fraud. In addition, Barenboym, Pride, and Bagardi were each charged with three counts of making false statements in connection with a health care benefit program. The defendants were set to make an initial appearance in federal court in Boston Feb. 4.

Ryan Decarolis, of Fitchburg, sentenced to 38 years on child pornography charges

A man from Central Massachusetts was sentenced to 38 years in prison after pleading guilty to sexually assaulting and recording multiple children under the age of 13.
As part of an investigation into the distribution of child pornography over social media, federal authorities began communicating with Ryan Decarolis, a then resident of Fitchburg.
Over a series of months in 2019, Decarolis communicated with an undercover federal agent and provided access to a Dropbox account containing hundreds of images and videos depicting child pornography, United States Attorney Andrew E. Lelling’s office said.
