My Take: Let s find a way for everyone to afford housing By Karmen Kooyers I would like to thank the Holland Planning Commission for their considerable efforts in reviewing our city’s housing needs and for taking time to gather more input about the proposed changes in the residential portion of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). My husband and I live in a neighborhood that would be affected by those changes. We fully support the goal of more affordable housing in our city, as well as the mission of the Holland Relations Committee, which promotes diversity, equity and inclusion in housing, education and employment; and advocates for all citizens with
