Leadership Hermosa Beach feels outdoor spaces are integral to the community, so for its 2021 class project, they are focusing on a section of Valley Park that needs upgrades.
The project, âValley for All,â which was approved by the Hermosa Beach City Council last week, features the installation of a new entrance ramp, ground leveling, replacement of the barbecue, sink and other key amenities, as well as other upgrades at the eastern barbecue area of Valley Park, according to co-project manager Erica Mapa.
âThe goal for this project is to encourage outdoor engagement for our community and to make sure the space is more functional and inclusive and accessible for the entire city,â Mapa said.
