Religious Leaders Urge Americans to Join ‘Good Versus Evil’ Battle
WASHINGTON Pastor Brian Gibson joined a bevy of religious leaders and thousands of rallygoers in Washington on Dec. 12 to petition the government for fair elections and to show support for the president.
“I believe the wicked men have stolen the American election, and patriots and the people of God are going to rise up,” Gibson told The Epoch Times.
“This is totally a ‘We the People’ moment. And I’m telling you, if American men don’t start acting like American men, we’re going to have to live our lives like Chinese men under communist control. So it’s a pivotal moment. It’s good versus evil. And it’s not Republican versus Democrat. It’s American versus communist.”
Representatives from the Yuba Water Agency plan to meet with members of the State Water Resources Control Board today to discuss certain requirements imposed by a recent water quality certification that is expected to cost the agency anywhere from $500 million to $1 billion to implement in order to continue operations along the Yuba River, which resulted in Yuba Water filing a lawsuit in both state and federal court in November.
The State Water Board is considering an amendment to clarify some language in the certification, which is the item that will be discussed at todayâs board meeting. Yuba Water General Manager Willie Whittlesey said itâs possible that the amendment is trying to set up an argument that can be used in court that both of the agencyâs lawsuits should be dismissed, and that it addresses a need â allowing additional time to file petitions for reconsideration of the certification â that doesnât exist.

When Santa Clara County (Calif.) Superior Court Judge Peter Kirwan imposed $55,000 in fines on Calvary Chapel San Jose for defying the state’s ban on indoor worship, he warned church officials against resistance.
“Even if you disagree with those opinions, these orders do have a purpose,” Kirwan told Pastor Mike McClure and the church’s attorneys. “You can’t just ignore those rules and regulations, nor can you ignore a court order just because you disagree with them.”
