Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Tuesday said that the race for packages in institutions of higher learning has now ended and a new race for bagging patents has begun. Responding to a discussion in Lok Sabha on demands for grants of the education ministry, he said research in higher education institutions has been excellent but India is yet to catch up with filing and bagging patents.

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Sunday announced that the Ministry of Education has decided to link the certificates with DigiLocker in order to ensure hassle-free access to verified Online Teacher Pupil Registration Management System (OTPRMS) Certificates. In our effort to provide free access to verified Online Teacher Pupil Registration Management System Certificates, @EduMinOfIndia has decided to link the certificates with DigiLocker. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Monday announced that the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) only one time in 2021.
The examination will be conducted in 11 languages, including Hindi and English through Pen and Paper mode on August 1 this year.
Notification date, syllabus, and other important details are yet to be revealed by the NTA. âNational Testing Agency (NTA) under Ministry of Education conducts Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate programme in medical sciences, in consultation with Ministry of Health & Family Welfare,â the minister said. The Ministry of Education has announced that Online Teacher Pupil Registration Management System (OTPRMS) Certificates will be linked with DigiLocker. The issued certificates will automatically be transferred to DigiLocker and the same may be traced at the website of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) at https://ncte.gov.in/website/DigiLocker.aspx and DigiLocker at https://digilocker.gov.in/ .
