Washington Representatives Dan Newhouse and Jaime Herrera-Beutler have both been under fire within the Republican Party, after joining eight other of their GOP colleagues in the House in voting to impeach then-President Donald Trump. While that may not have scored them points among Republicans, it did earn them high marks in a new “Democracy Report Card” released this last week.
The report card compiled by a group known as the Republican Accountability Project (RAP) graded Republican members of Congress in every state based on four criteria:

The Republican Accountability Project, a so-called conservative anti-Trump group championed by figures such as Bill Kristol, has given Republican lawmakers letter grades based on how they purportedly have defended democracy.
The “GOP Democracy Report Card” is part of the group’s efforts to track the level of Republican legislators’ allegiance to former President Donald Trump, Reuters reported. The Republican Accountability Project argues that on Jan. 6, “Our Capitol was attacked by a mob that believed that the 2020 election was being stolen. They were encouraged by the lies and actions of President Trump and many Republican members of Congress.”

Republican Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has said that it was stupid for Republican leaders not to invite former President Donald Trump to a GOP congressional retreat.

Topics include jobs, domestic security, how to deal with media, big tech censorship , China, the future of America freedoms and vulnerable Democrats to target in the midterms, according to Politico. Remember when Republicans lost the House in 2018 because a bunch of them distanced themselves from President Trump? Greene wrote in a tweet published Monday afternoon. Not inviting President Trump to the GOP retreat is the same stupid behavior. Funny how they don t understand a record # of votes and support of any R Pr
