Cottonwoods Care Centre up to 29 cases of COVID-19, Interior Health updates 2 other regional outbreaks Interior Health continues to battle against the COVID-19 outbreaks in a number of long-term care homes in the region. According to IH, Cottonwoods Care Centre in Kelowna remains the largest active outbreak. A total of 29 cases have been recorded, which includes 26 residents and three staff members. Two deaths are connected to the outbreak. Sandalwood Retirement Resort, also in Kelowna, has 25 cases between 24 residents and one staff member. One death also occurred at this location. In Keremeos, Orchard Haven has just two cases. This included one staff member and one resident.
