FARGO A Fargo man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for trying to kill his ex-girlfriend with a knife.
Jason Travis O’Neal, 49, pleaded guilty Monday, April 19, in Cass County District Court to attempted murder, a charge that said he stabbed Michelle Christianson with a knife multiple times on Aug. 22 at an apartment in the 2500 block of 14th Street South. Two restraining order charges, as well as allegations of interfering with an emergency call and driving under suspension, were dismissed.

FARGO A Fargo man will avoid prison time for jumping on a police vehicle and smashing the windshield during the May 30 riot in downtown.
Errick Steven Toa, 31, was ordered Tuesday, April 13, to spend two years on supervised probation. He previously pleaded guilty to a civil disorder charge.
