GREENPORT â Following a four-month investigation, a Greenport man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly possessing child pornography, said Aaron Hicks, public information officer for State Police Troop K.
Patrick J. OâLeary, 43 , was charged by state police with five counts of possession of a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony, Hicks said. A search warrant was executed Wednesday at OâLearyâs residence, where he was found to be in possession of child pornography, Hicks said.
OâLeary was given appearance tickets for Greenport Town Court on Jan. 11. The investigation remains ongoing and anyone with information regarding OâLeary is asked to contact the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Livingston at (845) 677-7300. Please reference case -10001693.

Jaleel A. Martin, 23, was charged with third-degree robbery, a class D felony, Moore said.
On Nov. 16, at about 7:13 p.m., Hudson Police received a report from the Quick-Mart store, 67 Green St., that the store had been robbed.
The store clerk told police a man entered the store and took $375 from the cash register and three packs of $1 lottery cards, Moore said.
The man threatened the clerk during the theft and fled the scene before police arrived, Moore said. The clerk was not injured.
Hudson police detectives investigated and arrested Martin on Dec. 14. Martin was arraigned by City Judge John Connor in Hudson City Court and was released pending a court appearance at a later date, Moore said.
