Clackamas Community College cancels classes on Oregon City campus in anticipation of protest OregonLive.com 2 hrs ago © The Oregonian (The Oregonian/OregonLive) Clackamas Community College officials have canceled all Friday classes at the college’s Oregon City campus after receiving reports that protesters are planning an “unsanctioned rally/march.” A flyer for the planned event billed the gathering as a “Fascist Free 503″ march beginning at the campus at 4 p.m. Friday. The event appears to protest a “weekly flag wave” event in Oregon City. Flyers from the “flag wave” events have expressed anti-Black Lives Matter rhetoric. The college said in a Facebook post that its Oregon City campus will be closed and that remote classes and meetings will be held as scheduled. The college also said police would monitor entrances to the campus Friday.
