Charboneau | Bonneville County Jail IDAHO FALLS Police arrested an Idaho Falls man for allegedly attacking another man with an electric guitar. The alleged attack happened on Oct. 26, 2020, when Brandon Anthony Charboneau, 34, had just been released from prison, according to an affidavit of probable cause obtained by EastIdahoNews.com. Charboneau was charged last year with felony aggravated battery but made his initial appearance Thursday. The victim called the Idaho Falls Police department after friends took him to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. In initial interviews with officers, the victim said Charboneau used the instrument to hit him on the head while he was in his bedroom. Court documents explain how Charboneau and the victim knew each other.

On Wednesday, June 2, at approximately 9:35 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a two vehicle crash westbound on US 20 at milepost 274, northeast of Atomic City. Joey Morrison, 48, of Kaysville, Utah, was traveling eastbound on US 20 in a 2004 Peterbilt Conventional 379 semi hauling a single trailer. Michael Sinclair, 76, of Arco, was traveling westbound in a 2004 Ford Expedition. Morrison failed to maintain his lane and drove into oncoming traffic. Sinclair, in an attempt to avoid colliding with Morrison, drove off the right shoulder. Morrison drove off the road and came to rest upright in a field. Sinclair’s Ford rolled on the roadway and came to rest on its top.

Idaho State Police said at about 9:35 p.m. Joey Morrison, 48, of Kaysville, Utah was heading east in semi-truck and crossed into oncoming traffic at milepost 274. Michael Sinclair, 76, of Arco was heading west in a Ford Expedition and tried to avoid hitting the semi. Sinclair drove off the right side of the road, which caused it to roll to its top. The semi came to rest in a field upright.
