When Opening Day comes around and LSU begins their attempt to play a full season in a COVID world, you’ll see something you haven’t seen in a long time.
After the Tigers had a promising 2020 season cut short before SEC play could even begin, in the summer LSU coach Paul Mainieri lifted his long-standing ban on facial hair for players wearing the purple and gold. Mainieri didn’t want to impose further restrictions who had to enter lockdown after having a season end before it could truly begin.

The Oregon Ducks officially secured the best recruiting class in program history during December’s early signing period, inking 21 pledges, including 16 bluechip recruits.
But Oregon. still has spots remaining and are targeting a few big names - five-star defensive lineman J.T. Tuimoloau, four-star running back Byron Cardwell, elite junior college cornerback Jadarrius Perkins and Mater Dei’s Raesjon Davis, the nation’s No. 4 outside linebacker.

But the class of 2022 presents some difficulties.
Forget for a moment the fact that Oregon is still working on closing out its 2021 class and preparing for a Fiesta Bowl against Iowa State.
The real issue with 2022 prospects is that many haven’t played a game in pads in more than a year, making it difficult to accurately manage and organize a priority list.
Still, Oregon has identified a handful of key targets, and made the cut list for two of those players along the offensive line this week.
