Walgreens Is Now Administering The COVID Vaccine At Stores in These States

With more than 3 million COVID-19 inoculations under its belt, Walgreens (WBA) is adding more vaccination sites at its stores in more states.
Starting on Feb. 25, the pharmacy and health retailer will be offering COVID vaccinations in the states of Arizona, Alaska, California, Georgia, Maine, Nevada, Ohio, Oregon, U.S. Virgin Islands, Utah, Virginia, and Wyoming.
Walgreens said it will receive a weekly allotment of more than 480,000 COVID vaccine doses to administer in these states for those that are eligible to receive vaccinations.
On Feb. 12, Walgreens began vaccinations in the states and territories of Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, Vermont, Wisconsin, and West Virginia as part of the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Frustrations continue to rise as people across the country and in Northeast Ohio scramble to schedule an appointment to receive the COVID-19 vaccination.
Most recently, a federal program, The Federal Retail Pharmacy Partnership, instituted in early February, to provide direct government to pharmacy vaccinations stumbled out of the gate, at least here in northeast Ohio, as multiple appointments, scheduled at Rite Aid, had to be canceled.
