Liverpool have a detailed plan to help fund a move for Kylian Mbappe, while they are also interested in a Leeds target and Spurs could lose Toby Alderweireld, all in the papers.
MBAPPE PLAN EMERGES
Liverpool are seriously plotting how to fund a bid for Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe, claims a report.
PSG are trying to extend the contract of the France international, who has just over 18 months remaining on his contract.
There have been no positive signals though from the Ligue 1 club and ASreport Liverpool are in a strong position to land the 22-year-old.
Ederson, Scott Carson, Tommy Doyle, Eric Garcia, Cole Palmer and Ferran Torres all missed the midweek win over Manchester United due to the virus, whilst Gabriel Jesus and Kyle Walker were named on the bench for the first time since their recovery.
Guardiola says Ederson, Doyle and Torres could all return to training before the Birmingham game if they return negative tests, but whether Jesus and Walker are fit to start will depend on how ready they feel.
“Kyle and Gabriel came back on the bench for Old Trafford - we will see how they react in the training sessions,” he said at his pre-match press conference.
